Xuefei Chu

Co-creator & Performer

A dance researcher and PhD candidate, Xuefei holds years of experience in performance, choreography, and teaching. With a BA and MA in dance and international teaching experience, her artistic practice is informed by long-term physical engagement across diverse forms and cultural contexts. Having studied and worked in both China and the UK, she brings an embodied perspective that bridges Eastern and Western approaches to movement, exploring how dance fosters resonance, reflection, and shared space.

Sangdi Zhou

Co-creator & Performer

Currently pursuing a PhD in Dance, Sangdi Zhou combines academic research with an interdisciplinary approach to choreography that values improvisation, site-specificity, and collaborative creation. Her work explores the relationships between body, camera, and digital space, blending Eastern and Western movement vocabularies to foster cross-cultural and cross-media dialogue. Over the past decade, she has collaborated with artists from the UK, US, Korea, Japan, Vietnam, and beyond, building a diverse and dynamic international creative network.

Jingwen Lu

Co-creator & Performer

A dance researcher and PhD candidate at Middlesex University, Jingwen brings a rich background in community dance, folk traditions, and intercultural education. As a lecturer at Hubei University of Education, he integrates performance, teaching, and academic research to explore how dance fosters connection across cultural and social settings. With experience in Chinese folk dance, particularly Tujia traditions, and a growing interest in the interplay between Taiji philosophy and movement practice, his work bridges heritage and contemporary expression. Having presented and published widely, he continues to contribute to the evolving dialogue between tradition, pedagogy, and community-based dance.
